What Is Hashimoto’s

The most important thing to understand is that Hashimoto’s is NOT a Thyroid disease! Hashimoto’s is an autoimmune disorder that affects the Thyroid and can lead to Hypothyroidism. The doctor will most likely give you L-Thyroxine to treat the Hypothyroidism but they won’t tell you how to manage Hashimoto’s.
